1. Application
In case of enrollment on a student visa
The deadline for application is approximately six months before the admission month.
*Depending on the situation with the maximum number of students, the application deadlines may move up and the application period may change depending on the year.
In case of enrollment on other than the student visa
The deadline is approximately one month before.

For enrollment with a student visa:
After the “Certificate of Eligibility” is issued, our school will send you an invoice. Please pay by bank transfer or Flywire.
For enrollment without a student visa:
The school will separately specify a payment deadline
You must be 18 years or older. There is no upper age limit, but for enrollment with a student visa, conditions vary depending on the applicant’s circumstances, so please consult with us separately.
It takes approximately 2.5 months from submitting the application documents to the Immigration Bureau until the “Certificate of Eligibility” is issued.
The school will handle the Certificate of Eligibility application, so please submit the necessary documents to the school.
Yes, you can. Kyoshin Language Academy has staff members who speak English, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Indonesian.

For enrollment with a student visa:
Textbook costs are included in the initial fees. However, transportation costs may be incurred for field trips and school events.
For enrollment without a student visa:
Textbooks will be settled at actual cost, so please pay in cash directly. For field trips, if you wish to participate, please pay the participation fee in cash directly.
If you can graduate by your desired enrollment date, enrollment is possible.

Yes, you can. However, you must report all your entry records. If you don’t have accurate records (such as old passports that cannot be found), please consult with us.

2. Classes
For student visas, you can study for up to 2 years, but this varies depending on your enrollment month. Please contact us for details.
The maximum capacity for one class is 20 students.
Classes are held Monday through Friday.
Class hours vary slightly by campus, but classes are held either in the morning or afternoon. Your class will be determined by your placement test results.
Classes are conducted using the direct method, so they are taught entirely in Japanese. In beginner classes, pictures and photos are also used to make the lessons easy to understand, so please rest assured.
No, you can study in a class that matches your level.
A placement test will be conducted before you enter classes. Based on the results of the written test and interview, you will begin studying in a class suited to your level.
What level you reach in one year depends on your Japanese level at enrollment. Please refer to the study period and achievement goals table in the pamphlet for confirmation.

The curriculum is based on JLPT levels, but classes are not solely focused on JLPT preparation.
In class, we study “reading,” “writing,” “speaking,” and “listening” in a balanced manner. By studying these four skills in balance, your Japanese will improve. Therefore, you cannot study only conversation.
One class is taught by multiple teachers.
3. Further Education
Yes, of course.
We hold regular career counseling sessions for further education, employment, etc. For further education, we provide guidance from school selection to interview preparation. For employment, we provide guidance from resume writing to interview preparation.

4. School
It varies by campus, so please contact us for details.
Yes, there are. Event content varies by campus. Please look forward to them.
Regular medications, a computer, your home country mobile phone, living expenses for the initial period, etc.
Yes, we do. We provide pickup service on designated arrival dates for students moving into school dormitories. (This is a paid service)
You will receive a certificate of completion. (You must meet certain conditions)
You will not receive a degree.
Yes, Wi-Fi is available at all campuses.
5. Accommodation
We have partner accommodations. The situation varies by campus, so please contact us for details.
We partner with companies that arrange homestays, so introductions are possible.
Yes, you can. If you have acquaintances in Japan or can find housing on your own, living outside our partner accommodations is fine.
Yes, you can. Cooking for yourself will reduce your living expenses.
6. Life in Japan

Yes, if you have a student visa, you can purchase one.
You may also be able to purchase a SIM card in Japan and use it in your current mobile phone from your home country.
It is recommended to bring 1-2 months’ worth of living expenses in cash.
Those with student visas can open a bank account in Japan and receive remittances from their home country. It is also possible to withdraw cash from Japanese ATMs using your home country bank’s ATM card.
Bringing a credit card would provide peace of mind.

For student visas, after obtaining a “Permission to Engage in Activity Other Than That Permitted under the Status of Residence Previously Granted” from the Immigration Bureau, you can work part-time up to 28 hours per week.
Part-time job information is posted on the bulletin board. Please use this information effectively. If you still cannot find one, please come directly to the office for consultation.
If you enroll with a student visa, you must join the National Health Insurance. You only need to pay 30% of the medical costs.
7. Things to Do Before Entering Japan
For enrollment with a student visa, please purchase your ticket promptly after the “Certificate of Eligibility” is issued. For enrollment with a short-term visa, you may purchase immediately after applying.
Since airport pickup dates are set, please arrive in Japan on the designated date as much as possible.
You can apply without prior experience. To adapt smoothly to studying and living, please learn to read and write hiragana and katakana before coming to Japan as much as possible.

・Research your home country so you can introduce it.
