Notes
- If there is a change in Japan’s consumption tax, the difference will be collected even for currently enrolled students.
- The examination fee must be paid at the time of application. There is no refund of the examination fee after applying for the Certificate of Eligibility.
- All remittance fees, both domestic and from your home country, are to be paid by the applicant.
- The insurance fee does not refer to National Health Insurance premiums.
Refund Policy
If you received a Certificate of Eligibility but decide not to enroll
Please return the admission letter and Certificate of Eligibility. A refund will be provided excluding the examination fee and admission fee.
If a visa is not issued by the Japanese Embassy/Consulate
Please return the admission letter and submit proof that the visa was not issued. A refund will be provided excluding the examination fee and admission fee.
If you obtain a visa but cancel enrollment before entering Japan
If you return the admission letter and confirm that the visa is unused and has expired, a refund will be provided excluding the examination fee and admission fee.
If you enter Japan with a visa but do not enroll
No refund will be provided under any circumstances.
If you withdraw from school after enrollment
- If you withdraw within 6 months, tuition and other fees will not be refunded. However, if you paid for 1 year, the 6-month portion will be refunded.
- After 6 months, fees are calculated in 3-month units (April-June, July-September, October-December, January-March), and tuition and other fees for the period in which withdrawal occurs will not be refunded.
